Bristol Christmas Parade

Bristol's annual Christmas parade marches down State Street — the street that straddles two states — with floats, marching bands, community groups, and enough holiday cheer to light up the Appalachian night. It's a classic small-city holiday tradition, and the State Street setting (where Tennessee meets Virginia at the state line painted in the middle of the road) gives it a character that no other parade can match.
